Grantmaking

At The Evan and Tracy Segal Family Foundation, we pride ourselves on our relationship-based approach to funding. Therefore, we do not have a formal grant application process. Instead, we much prefer to get to know you through one-on-one conversations about your organization’s background, core values, and funding priorities. This method allows us to form deeper connections with our potential partners, and lets organizations focus on their mission— rather than writing unique proposals for funders.

If you are considering reaching out, here are some general guidelines to keep in mind:

The Evan and Tracy Segal Family Foundation doesn’t do any grant requests, so you don’t have to be able to afford a grant writer or spend money and time on writing unique applications for them. They do relationship builds where they continue to trust the people that they work with to be good stewards of funding.
